      The solution is given to my post. You will get it on problem 6. However, I am telling you here again-If you discover the heater flame is not moving, possibly, it’s occurring for 2 issues: 1. Faulty flame generator drives motor 2. And the spinner is detached from the heater motor.

      If the flame generator is the culprit, change it. Plus, check the spinner is mounted correctly, if not fix it. For better understanding, you can go to my post and read again the point 6.

  1. I have a older Duraflame and the code on it flashes F3 and stops heating the blower shuts down but the fake flame keeps going or stays on . Thank you

  2. I figured it out. On the inside of the door along the bottom are the manual controls. Which you can raise the temp and how long to run. The remote will not do this. All directions I read was trouble shoot on things not associated with the issues. Please have people look there 1st.

  3. My duraflame doesnt have a dial for the thermostat and when I press the thermometer button only thing that happens is the light blink the display never show the temp.

  4. Thank you! My flame wasn’t turning on and it was a simple fix –> replace the light bulb. Easy, with a standard 40watt 120v bulb…simply take off the back and replace bulb. Then put the back back on. Viola! I got a flame!

  5. Spinning wheel under logs seems to be making noise
    Almost like it may be bent or is catching on something

      Generally, electric appliances operate quiter than other appliances.

      Well, to fix your heater issue, first, inspect all the wiring connectios & tighten them if you get any loose connectiona. Also, make sure the flame moter is operating correctly.

      Alternatively, it’s a good idea to take a pic of the wiring connections before replacing the blower. Then, you can connect them accordingly.
