    May I somehow remove the fins of a hydronic baseboard heater to reduce heat in a small room?

    The heating zone also heats a great room with cathedral ceilings…So the heat is always “on”, trying to heat the great room.

    But anyone sleeping in the small bedroom to the side of the great room gets overheated with the result of loss of sleep!

    I found two videos on YouTube demonstrating how to remove the fins when the copper pipe isn’t attached to the wall and you can simply hold it in your hands or lay it down on a workbench.

    But this won’t work for us, since we aren’t plumbers.
